| The Five Universal Symbols & What They Mean to You | ![]() |
| Saturday Session 3 [2:30pm] | Oak Room G |

The workshop will open with a very brief introduction, I will describe how I came to learn about the five shapes (5 min)and look at shapes together as a group with a brief intro to each (5-10 min).
Then we will deep dive into each shape individually, talking about how they effect / represent our work, relationships, our spirituality and identity.
The rest of the time will be spent in a hands-on activity where each participant will take part in a fun exercise that reveals our current priorities, the work we have just completed and the work or focus most needing our attention. This activity is simple to do yet brings really exciting, ‘ah-ha’ moments of clarity and self acceptance.
We will have time for sharing individual results and discussion about them as time allows.
Examination of ancient cultures of the earth shows the same five universal shapes used in decoration, art, signs and sigils. Closer examination reveals that these same five shapes have the same meaning cross culturally, making them a part of our collective or archetypal consciousness. Based on the landmark work of Angeles Arrien, cross cultural anthropologist, the same five shapes are found across the world and all with the same meaning.
Supplies of paper and pens will be provided by presenter.
